OPS ENGLISH - FORM 1 (HOBBIES)

Assalam and good day everyone.....

I would like to share the PdP I had done with my Form 1 students... Unit 2 is about  HOBBIES and it is one of the units that really caught my students attention and interesting enough for the students to involve actively during the PdP.

Here is the lesson plan of the day :

THEME :  People

TOPIC : Hobbies

OBJECTIVE : At the end of the lesson, students will be able to -

1. use the language learned in the topic confidently
2. practise the vocabulary learned
3. practise the pronunciation of the vocabulary
4. practise sentence patterns used for talking about hobbies

ACTIVITIES :

1. Induction set - draw students' attention to the pictures.
2. Students work in groups of 5 or 6 to promote their hobby club.
3. Each hobby club poster must include :

• Name of the club 
• Logo
• Activities

So here the fun part begin... The students promoting their club...(This activity is to build students' confidence in using language learned in this topic confidently)

*they explain and promote their club using the language learned and appropriate body language

As for conclusion, the students really had fun during their presentation and the moral values of Teamwork and Cooperation really stand out during the PdP.......Until then....

Program Intervensi Tambah Opsyen (PITO) 2015

Assalam....

This year I still have to teach English Form 1, 2 and 3.. A little bit sad because I really hope that I can teach science at least one class for this year but the luck is still not with me..

Since I'm still teaching English this year...Well I'm looking forward to do PITO (Program Intervensi Tambah Opsyen)...The good news is the offer is finally here...but the sad news is I can't accept the offer as I already had plan for this year and it needs my full commitment..

Still I really want to recommend to teachers who are teaching English and non-option to grab the opportunity to do PITO....Personally I think by taking PITO it's help us as a non-option teacher to boost our confident in teaching English...

Here are a few steps that you have to follow in order to fill in the mark online:

1. click SETIAUSAHA PEPERIKSAAN
2. type your login ID and password (obtain them from S/U PT3)
   
3. click masuk markah button
   
4. click kemasukan markah button
   
5. choose either SEJARAH / GEOGRAFI/ BAHASA MELAYU / BAHASA INGGERIS
6. choose no. pusat , jenis calon, no. kelas
7. click senaraikan
8. fill the oral mark
9. lastly, when you are done click simpan

Now lets focus on UJIAN BERTULIS on 14 October 2014....

Finally, LP came out with the Jadual waktu for PT3...ayoyo...makes me feel so nervous and panic at the same time for the students as it is just around the corner....

Writing test for English will be on the 14 OCTOBER 2014 (2nd day of PT3) from 7.45 am - 9.45 am.
